This 30th-anniversary event will be taking place on April 20 at the Halifax Convention Centre. The gala brings together a collection of famous culinary delights as Nova Scotias’ best chefs create an exciting dining experience supporting UNICEF’s lifesaving work.
The event will also provide an auction with over 100 items to bid on, with the profits towards the water for life gala. The Gala’s primary focus is on the right to have clean and safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and access to education.
Good Foot Get Down
Good Foot Get Down will be taking place AT Revival Bar in Toronto on November 8. The charity works as a Toronto-based foot courier service that employs people with disabilities to deliver goods throughout Toronto by foot and public transport. This will be the seventh year that the event will be running.
The annual fundraising event will be providing various local craft beer, music performances, and shops to buy locally made arts and crafts. Each year, they focus on various causes and provide a fun event for all to attend while donating to a great cause.
Climb for Cancer
Climb for Cancer is there to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society Dordyban Lodge n Prince George, British Columbia. It’s a 2-day event spanning from September 18 -19 at Northern Lights Winery.
Experience great food, fun, and music while supporting a great cause. Admission is by donation so just donate what you can and have a great experience. The artists are local, the food is local, and the event is local, providing a great initiative to support cancer patients in the community.
The second event will be happening on September 19 and will include the traditional activity of teams climbing the iconic cutbacks to show support for the lodge and its guest. The team needs to sign up beforehand and will be contacted by the Cancer Society Volunteers.
